Subsea Forum 2018 – “Underwater for longer: Subsea 4.0” – poses the challenge that “the subsea industry must change its mindset to be competitive and learn how to bring light to real-time decisions that can increase efficiency and save costs safely”. According to the organisers IBP (Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute) and SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) “there is no room to stay in the deep dark ocean anymore. The ongoing industry’s revolution already has lessons that can show us the direction.”
