Asker, February 10th, 2021 – Leona Jeffrey, Country Manager UK will speak at Subsea Expo on Tuesday, February 22 at 14:05 GMT. She will have a presentation on the topic “Extending Life of Wind Farms using IoT sensors and Machine Learning”.
The presentation will focus on how the service life of wind farms can be extended by an estimated 10%-30% using proven methodologies from other industries such as offshore oil and gas. In addition, it will cover the development of retrofittable sensors for monitoring wind turbine foundations. The sensors have a proven track record from oil and gas both to monitor well integrity during drilling operations and structural integrity of critical equipment.
