We are now searching for a talented project engineer to strengthen our team.


As a Product project engineer, you will be a part of the Instrumentation and Sensor team. You will be involved in delivering projects and services related to 4Subsea sensor and monitoring technology to external clients and contribute to developing technology internal strategies and strengthening the team.

Both participate and lead technical aspects of project work, services and development related to monitoring of flexible pipes, cables, dynamic risers, and structures within the oil, gas and wind industry.


  • Obtain key competence about 4Subsea existing sensor and instrumentation technology, understand applications, and contribute to development
  • Participate and contribute to technical proposal work
  • Engineering and design of solutions that are scalable and also able to meet project-specific requirements and customisations. This is related to sensor and instrumentation technology as well as mechanical ancillary equipment
  • Produce and maintain documentation to ensure traceability and compliance with client requirements
  • Produce technical requirements to sub-suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Follow-up purchase orders, fabrication, and delivery from sub-suppliers
  • Perform mechanical completion and FAT at sub-suppliers
  • Perform offshore commissioning
  • Liaise with and follow-up of client as a technical focal point
  • Produce client project documentation


Requirements/Advantageous experience
  • 0-6 years of experience.
  • Sc or BSc. in marine, mechanical engineering or even EIT (Electrical, Instrument, Telecom) disciplines
  • Offshore experience
  • CAD experience
  • Product development and design experience
  • Multidiscipline project work experience
  • Experience from the offshore industry
  • Willingness to travel nationally, internationally and offshore
  • Strong language skills, with proficiency in English and Norwegian
